Written by: Joy Sherman [Joy is a teacher at Sherman Christian Academy in Fort Worth Texas]

Age:

2-5 years

Activity Summary:

Create a dress up closet for your little ones.

What You Need:

•Long Rectangular Cardboard Box
•Paint or wrapping paper
•Long Wrapping Paper Tube
•Scissors

What You Do:

  1. Stand the box straight up.

  2. Cut the top and bottom flaps off.

  3. Cut the side flaps (if needed) to make the doors.

  4. Cut to circular holes in the top sides of the box.

  5. Push the wrapping paper tube through the holes (this is where you hang the clothes).

  6. Decorate the doors however you choose.

  7. Hang child-size hangers on the racks.

  8. Fill the closet with old toys, shoes, hats, jewelry, panty hose etc. Arrange just like a real closet!

  9. Play dress up for hours.
