FIRE SAFETY PICTURES [From: Safety]

Age:

2-5 years

Activity Summary:

Little ones will draw pictures of fire and then talk or write about how to stafe safe in case of a fire.

What You Need:

•Construction Paper
•Markers

What You Do:

  1. Ask the children to draw a picture about fire.

  2. After they do so, if they do not yet know how to write, ask them what their picture is of.

  3. Allow them to tell you their own story, as they do you, write exactly what they say.
If possible, have a local firefighter come into the classroom to talk with the children about fire safety.
