BOO-TIFUL TREES [From: Special Days/Seasonal]

Age:

2-5 years

Activity Summary:

Little ones can make paper trees by making tracings of their arms and hands.

What You Need:

•black construction paper
•white pencils or crayons
•scissors
•orange construction paper

What You Do:

  1. Child places their hand/arm on black construction paper.

  2. Trace around it with white pencil.

  3. Cut out, creating a "tree" (arm/trunk, hand/branch).

  4. Teacher draws white heart on with child's name in it.

  5. In orange cut words "BOO-TIFUL TREES".

  6. Display for Halloween as a bulletin board.
